Rebecca Ellison B HS ACU, DIP.RM opened Queanbeyan Acupuncture in 2003. Rebecca tends to a wide range of ailments however her particular interests are pain, paediatrics, digestive issues and pregnancy.
Rebecca studied a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture at the University of Technology in Sydney graduating in 2002. She also holds a Diploma in Remedial Massage. Rebecca is a registered acupuncturist with AHPRA and a member of the AACMA.
Rebecca attended a conference on scalp acupuncture and stroke rehab in October 2014 in the US. Scalp acupuncture is a younger version of acupuncture with only 60 years of history. It is used widely in China to treat symptoms of stroke such as aphasia and poor mobility. Click here to see Dr Zhu’s scalp acupuncture. It is an area that needs to be researched more however if you would like to know, more please talk to Rebecca.
Rebecca also works with children and is able to adapt treatment to suit the child whether it be with needles or needle free (shonishin).
Sally Nourse has been working at Queanbeyan Acupuncture since 2014. Sally is a registered acupuncturist with AHPRA and also studied at the University of Technology in Sydney, graduating in 2008. Sally has a particular interest in fertility and gynecological issues, however deals with a wide array of ailments.
Monica has a Certificate 4 in Remedial Massage and has trained in Oncology Massage and Bowen having recently undertaken the Baby Bowen techniques course in Sydney. Monica also offers Pregnancy Massage and seems to have intuitive hands.
